ANZAC Services and Marches in Brisbane 2026

On Anzac Day each year we remember all Australians who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. It is a chance to pause and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our nation.

Below we have given you an overview of selected events throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas, though there are many more happening each year.

Please note – all events are subject to change so make sure you check the RSL website before attending to ensure current details are correct.

Brisbane City ANZAC Services & Marches 2026

Anzac Day Dawn Service – Brisbane City

Every year on the 25th of April, an Anzac Day Dawn Service is held in Brisbane City starting at 4.28am sharp. The event is held at Brisbane City’s Shrine of Remembrance, Anzac Square, located between Ann and Adelaide Streets.

Anzac Day Parade – Brisbane City

The Anzac Day Parade will be held on Adelaide Street, between George Street and Creek Street, from 9.45am – 12.30pm on the 25th of April.  The parade will feature former and current Australian Defence Force veterans and other groups.

Veterans and citizens unable to attend the parade can watch the event on ABC IView or LIVE ABC TV.

The recommendation is to use public transport where possible to access the Parade area. The main form up area for veterans is a reasonable walk across the Victoria Bridge to Queens Park. Also from King George Square/Queen St busway levels to Adelaide Street for spectators as well as Central Station. Many of the CBD car parks are closed, however the King George Square car park remains accessible from Roma Street and is located close to Adelaide Street. Other car parks outside the vehicle closedown area are on Alice, Ann & Eagle Streets.

Pine Rivers 

Dawn service at 5:15 – 6am, March at 8:15 am, Main Service at 9:30am.

March at 7am with main ceremony following at 7.25am

Geebung Zillmere Bald Hills Aspley 

Services at 5:45am at Aspley Hornets, 6:45 at Pinaroo Lawn Cemetary, and 9:30am at Bald Hills Memorial Hall.

Kedron

Dawn Service at 5am, Gun fire breakfast for veterans and families at 6:30am, March at 7:50am and main service at 8am.

Deception Bay 

Dawn service at 5:40am.

Bribie Island 

Dawn Service at 4:15am, March at 8:30am and Main Service at 9am.

Sandgate

Gunfire breakfast at 4am, dawn service at 4:45am and march at 8.45am

Services at 6:30am Sherwood; 7:30am Indooroopilly; March at 7am from Graceville Train Station to Memorial Park, followed by a Commemorative service at 7:30am

Yeronga 

March from 7am, from Yeronga State School, arriving at the WW1 Cenotaph; Main service at 7:30 am.

Salisbury 

Dawn service at 4:45am, Main Service at 7:45am 

Beenleigh

Dawn service at 5am, Gunfire breakfast (Mt Warren) at 6:15am, march at 9am and main service at 10am.

Forest Lake

Dawn service at 4.28am, march at 8.45am.

Manly-Lota

Dawn service at 4m, gunfire breakfast at 5am, march at 8am and main service to follow.

Redland Bay

Dawn service at 5am.

Logan Village 

Dawn Service at 4:10am.

Ipswich ANZAC Services & Marches 2026

Dawn service at 4.27am, gunfire breakfast at 4.45am, main service at 8.15am.

Springfield 

Dawn Service at 5:30am at Robelle Domain, March at Brighton Homes Arena from 8am.
This will be followed by ADF SE QLD AFL vs Queensland Fire & Rescue AFL team, & RAAF Flyovers.

Dawn service at 4:40am, march at 10.30am.

Mudgeeraba Robina

Dawn service at 4.40am, Main Service at 10am, Sunset service at 3pm.

Southport

Dawn Service starts at 5am, Main community service at 9am.

Upper Coomera

March from Highland Reserve State School Hall at 9.00 am to Tallowwood Park. Service & Activities will commence at approximately 9.30 am once marchers are gathered around the Cenotaph. Community BBQ immediately after the event.

Dawn service at 4:30am.

Glasshouse Mountains

Main Service at 11am at the Community Hall.

Maleny 

Dawn service at 4:15am, Gunfire breakfast at 5am, March at 10:15am, Followed by the main service at 11am. Additionally there’s a service in the Remembrance Garden – Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital at 9:45am

Maroochydore

Dawn service at 4:15am, Gunfire breakfast at 5am, march at 8am, and Main service at 9am.

Kawana

Dawn service at 5:15am, Veterans march at 10:15 to the cenotaph, Main Service from 10:40am

Caloundra

Dawn Service, Kings Beach Amphitheatre at 5am; March, starting at 8:30am, Oval Ave and finishing at Caloundra RSL car park; Wreath Laying, Bob McInnes Memorial Garden 10am.
