free-educational-resources

If you are a parent who has been tasked with the role of educator while your child is away from school, then no doubt you are on the lookout for some supportive tools and resources to help you with their educational journey.  Whether it is due to illness, extended holidays, school closures or simply a desire to help your child further their understanding of a particular subject, below is a comprehensive list of free online educational activities and learning tools that cater for both primary and secondary-aged students.

Please note, due to the current coronavirus pandemic many, if not all, of the sites listed below are offering free resources to teachers, students and parents.  Where we have been made aware of current deals we have listed these for your convenience.  We will aim to update this page should any of the free services or discounts listed below change.

Queensland Department of Education

To help support students who are currently at home due to school closures and isolation, the Department of Education has put two weeks’ worth of resources for each year level online.  These are ready-to-print and work from pdf files that are designed to provide students with learning experiences and activities that are intended for completion over a two-week period.  Units will be released progressively and the webpage will be updated with new releases when available.
