Where to find the best free Brisbane Christmas events in 2020

The biggest Brisbane Kids Christmas event list yet! There are just so many free Christmas events in Brisbane this year to get your whole family into the Christmas spirit. We will be updating the events daily from now up until Christmas so make sure you check in regularly for new events! 

Events over Multiple Days

Santa Selfies

David Jones Queens Plaza| Brisbane CBD,  3- 24 December, 12pm – 5pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only

 Keep your eye out for Santa instore at David Jones Queens Plaza, as he wanders around taking selfies and offering special inside information on how he travels around the world in one night. Santa will be practicing physical distancing using a special photo prop to ensure the health and wellbeing of everyone he meets this Christmas.  Find out more here Santa Selfies

Enchanted Gardens

Roma Street Parkland| Brisbane City,  4 December – 17 January, 6.30pm – 9.30pm

Wander through the gardens on a warm summer night and enjoy the series of shimmering gardens, a guard of delicately-lit weeping figs, to the treetops of a twinkling rainforest. Food trucks will be onsite as well as the newly opened The Garden Room Café, serving specialty bites into the evening. The Gold Lotto City Hall Lights

City Hall| Brisbane City,  4 – 24 December, 7.30pm – midnight

This year Brisbane Families can watch a  dazzling visual and sound display of fantasy and magic that will transport you to a winter wonderland in Brisbane. Christmas on Queen

Queen Street Mall| Brisbane City,  4 – 24 December, 7.30pm – midnight

Santa Visit’s The Farm

Granite Belt Christmas Farm| Applethorpe,  5- 20 December, 10am – 1pm Weekends only

Santa on Tour

Various Ipswich Suburbs| Ipswich,  4- 6 and 11- 13 December, 4.30pm – 9pm

This year Santa and his helpers are taking Christmas to the suburbs to help spread the Christmas cheer. A socially distanced Santa, performers and characters will be popping up around Ipswich. Saturday 21 November

The Rotary Club of Mt Gravatt’s Christmas Market and Carols

Mt Gravatt Showgrounds | Mt Gravatt, 4pm- 9pm

Authur Christmas- Outdoor Cinema in the Suburbs

Caboolture Christmas Carols

Friday 4 December

Jingle All the Bay

Sandgate Town Centre | Sandgate, 6pm – 9pm

Christmas Variety Show and Carols

Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum | Beenleigh, 4.30pm – 8.30pm

Join Santa, his helpers and the Christmas variety show lineup of talented entertainers including Chris Tamwoy from Australia’s Got Talent, Cath Jay and the Freedom Train Choir and Victoria Tamaki and more as Beenleigh Historical Village brings you a message of Christmas hope and joy. Community Carols and Christmas Market

Underwood Park | Underwood, 4pm – 8pm

Sunday 6 December

North Lakes Christmas Carols

Kinsellas Park | North Lakes,  3pm – 8pm

Bring your best vocals and a blanket to spread out, relax and enjoy a magical evening including carols, free kids activities and workshops as well as some last-minute Christmas gift shopping at the twilight markets. North Lakes Christmas Carols details

Christmas Twilight Market Spectacular

Dunamis Church | Tanah Merah,  5pm – 7pm

Kicking off at 5pm, the markets will include stalls selling fresh produce, handcrafted gifts, boutique clothing and mouth-watering food. Saturday 12 December

Flagstone Twilight Market and Community Carols

Flagstone State School | Jimboomba, 5pm – 8.30pm
