This awesome all-abilities playground in south-east Brisbane has space and fun by the bucketful – perfect for a big family gathering with Brisbane Kids of all ages.

Capalaba Regional Park- The Fun

Capalaba Regional Park’s modern facilities are great for a family picnic or BBQ, with shelters, tables, and wheelchair accessible toilets. The all-abilities playground features heaps of awesome play equipment including a musical forest, sand play area and natural plantings. The hills and mounds with inbuilt slides and ramps are sure to impress your Brisbane Kids. Other features include giant climbing nets, a flying fox and a liberty swing, as well as a casual sports area and function area for lots of different things to do. This is a recreational space boasting two large lagoons and room for all, which makes it ideal for a big delicious picnic on a beautiful sunshine-filled day with your Brisbane Kids.

Imagination Factor

All ages and all abilities can set their minds free in this awesome park! Regardless of ability, all Brisbane Kids can soar through the air like a bird or a plane on a regular swing, liberty swing or the flying fox. Scooters and bikes are great for exploring the natural environment of the park and the lagoons are perfect for ‘fishing’ and feeding the animals like zoo-keepers.

Special Needs

Despite being set on more than one level, Capalaba Regional Park is highly accessible. Wheelchair toilets are provided and many smooth flat paths make negotiating with a wheelchair or pram easy. The multiple shelters provide respite from the sun and there are several bench seats throughout to keep an eye on your Brisbane Kids from. The playground is unfenced and there are several shade trees throughout.
