Parenting Programs

Whilst all parents will tell you that the little people in their lives are the most wondrous things they have ever created, most will also admit that parenting is not the easiest thing to do in the world. The truth is, for all the amazing, wonderful and joyful moments our children bring to our lives, there are also many days that are filled with frustration and desperation as we navigate our way through the highs and lows of parenting smaller individuals.

And whilst there has never been a definitive manual for parenting that we are given on their arrival (oh, how wonderful that would be!), there has been a lot of research and study done on the subject over the years with the results giving way to parenting programs designed to assist with parenting skills. Ultimately, how you parent your child is based on your own upbringing, culture and beliefs, but doing some research into methods and practices that may help curb your child’s behaviour or enable you to understand how their mind works and react to our actions more can sometimes make a huge difference to the environment you create for them.

Below are some of the different parenting programs that are available in Brisbane.
