Larrikin Puppets – Puppetry Workshops for Kids
Larrikin Puppets is running beginner workshop programs for children. No previous puppetry experience needed. Learn the basic techniques that bring Muppet-style puppet characters to life in an interactive workshop led by Brett Hansen. Students will get a chance to practice puppetry techniques using real puppets. Speak Up Studio has an amazing variety of workshops running in the September school holidays – in drama, musical theatre, art, animation and science! SHAFT | School Holiday Activities for Teenagers
Shaft is a school holiday program for teenagers run by the Moreton Bay Regional Council. Teens can learn to play golf, go indoor rock climbing and mountain biking or learn some new skill at a circus and aerial workshop. Chill Out is one of Brisbane’s most popular youth programs with a great variety of free and low-cost recreation activities. Brisbane City Council coordinates the events targeted specifically to young people between 10-17 years old. Krank is a school holiday program for Logan residents aged 13-17 years that is jam packed with free and low cost activities and classes. It’s a great way to meet new people and have fun as you participate in adventure sports, arts and crafts, multimedia, music and physical recreation. Active Breaks is a free holiday program run by Ipswich City Council and Coolsports for Ipswich kids aimed at getting kids out and active during the school holidays. The program offers a range of sports each holidays including martial arts, trampolining, dance, hockey, little athletics and much more.
