Brisbane Indoor Playgrounds and Playcentres
Playcentres in Brisbane are a mums best friend!
As a mum of 2 crazy Brisbane Boys there is sometimes no greater relief that heading to a playcentres and letting the boys run wild in a contained area so I can have a chat with a friend or a read of a magazine. Not to suggest you shouldnt supervise your Brisbane Kids but there is a certain amount of felt freedom that comes from going to a playcentre. All have onsite cafe’s, prices vary between each and all of them insist that your Brisbane Kids brings and wears a pair of socks.

There’s also Lollipops Playland, Cannon Hill, on the South-East side: http://www.cannonhill.lollipopsplayland.com.au/
Chipmunks at Underwood is brilliant!! They encourage adults to join in, so adults should wear socks also. Adults also get in free.
Another play centre is Rowdy Rascals at Jindalee.
Chipmunks has a few venues across Brisbane.

I love being able to click onto the Brisbane Kids website and know that I can find upcoming events, especially in the lead up to special celebrations like Easter and Christmas. I also love getting status updates through facebook which reminds and notifys me of what’s on. Thanks Brisbane Kids!!
Don’t forget about Funkee Monkees!
There is also Hippos House at morayfield….a favourite with my family
Go wild is still on this page, but it has shut its door.
I went to the new Chipmunks at Everton Park on Flockton Street on the weekend. It was great. Coffee ok aswell.
I have tried Lollipops at Springfield, Geckos at Browns Plains, Rowdy Rascals at Jindalee and Wriggleit at Kingston.
I have an 18month old, 10 yo and 12yo.
Geckos was great for the older kids as the Toddler area didn’t have a lot for littlies. Have been here a couple of times.
Lollipops was really busy the day I went (a Friday), the little one had a good time and loved the pirate ship and slide.
Wriggleit was good for for the older ones but I ahven’t been since my little one arrived. A trip will probably happen these school holidays.
Recently went to Rowdy Rascals at Jindalee. Was very impressed withe the options for my little one. At least three different areas to play in, two jumping castles (depending on child’s age) and the little tikes cars to drive around in. Not overall impressed wiht the older kids area but thought it was great for the under 5.
Still to try Funky Monkees at Coopers Plains and Chipmunks at Underwood.
Gosh, sounds like some fun to be had around town
A few i have not yet tried! Thanks
