Wildlings Forest School
Do you have a budding adventurer on your hands?
A child who just LOVES to run, jump, climb and explore?
A child who always pushes boundaries and *sometimes* makes your heart skip a beat?
Well, that’s just fantastic! Your child is taking measured risks and learning through experience which is essential for healthy child development!
There are not many places that let children BE children and embrace these intrinsic needs…
But that’s where the team at Wildlings Forest School can help!
What is Wildlings Forest School?
Wildlings believe that children deserve the freedom to play, explore and truly experience the natural world. This means they encourage children to climb trees, observe creatures, play in creeks, be self-aware and trust their natural instincts.
For older children (4 & up) they also allow them the time to play and learn new skills such as; using hand tools to whittle bows and arrows and primitive weapons, safely building and managing a fire using fire strikers, constructing a floating raft, and shelters for use in all weather.
The benefits of forest school
Their highly qualified Forest School Leaders, Teachers and Play Workers are there to gently guide your child to trust their instincts and use their imagination, communication and problem-solving skills.
Watch your child build confidence and resilience as they play and develop a sense of belonging within the Wildlings Village.

Still not sure? Here’s what parents have to say:
“We have enjoyed 5 terms of Wildlings in Brisbane. Totally loved every week. Always a priority to attend and not an option to miss. The leaders are lovely and thoughtful. The environment is amazing (even with bugs, spiders and mozzies). All other families and children are supportive and become lovely friends. Highly recommend. Looking forward to another 4 terms next year.” – Elise Parker, parent of a child at Wildlings Forest School
“An amazing opportunity for children to be immersed in nature, challenging themselves at their own pace, discovering and exploring their surroundings, taking risks in a safe and supported environment. I love everything that Wildlings represents and the wonderful facilitators that provide these experiences for the children.” – Carrie Flux, parent of a child at Wildlings Forest School
“As an Early Childhood Teacher, I am completely blown away by the essence that Wildlings foster. This experience was an unraveling for myself and my boys. To be immersed fully in the environment was so calm and connecting. This was everything my busy boys needed and we look forward to returning again. Congratulations to the entire team for creating such an engaging learning experience for caregivers, parents, children and siblings… and creating a space for children and adults to pull down barriers and connect! This is a must do for all families!” – Kimberley Colthup, parent of children at Wildlings Forest School
