Where to meet the Easter Bunny in Brisbane 2019

The Easter Bunny is one of those iconic figures that Brisbane Kids everywhere will remember meeting. This year, shopping centres and festivals everywhere are getting their Easter on and have invited the Easter Bunny along for the ride.

Check out all the events on in and around Brisbane in the lead up to Easter where your Brisbane Kids can meet the fluffy white bunny and maybe get a delicious Easter treat!

Festivals and Other Easter Events

Forest Lake’s Annual Easter Carnival Saturday 6 April, 2pm – 5pm at 528 Waterford Rd, Ellen Grove.  The Easter Bunny will be making a special early appearance in the lead up to Easter at the Forest Lake Annual Easter Carnival. There will be lots of fun for the whole family with an Easter egg hunt, Easter bonnet parade, a jumping castle, food, face painting and lolly scrambles.

Easter Eats Festival:  Saturday 6 April, 11am – 3pm at Browns Plains Homemaker Centre. Enjoy a series of tasty food trucks, live music, jumping castles, rides, face painting, a visit from the Easter Bunny and more!

Easter High Tea:  Wednesday 10 and 17 April, 9.30am – 11am at Shingle Inn City Hall.  Enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury treats from the Easter High Tea including adorable Lil’ Chick biscuit. The Easter bunny will make an appearance with an Easter egg hunt, lucky door prizes and more!

Easter Story Time Wednesday 10, Thursday 11 and Wednesday 17 April at various Logan City Council Libraries. In the lead up to Easter, the Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance at various Logan City Council Libraries. There will be some Easter fun with special stories, craft and a visit by the Easter Bunny. (To help keep our sessions allergy free the Easter Bunny will be bringing some special craft for children instead of eggs).

North Lakes Teddy Bear’s Picnic:  Friday 12  April, Aurora Boulevard Park, North Lakes, 9am – 12pm.  Running from 9am to 12noon, there will be plenty to keep your little ones entertained with stage shows, face painting, kids activities, an animal farm, and a teddy bear parade for children under five years of age. There will also be a special visit by the Easter Bunny.

Easter Bunny Movie Night Saturday 13 April, Everleigh, from 5pm – 8pm. Meet the Easter Bunny play some Easter games, snap on free popcorn and Snaggin’ Wagon Sausages – thanks to Natural Gas before the movie, Peter Rabbit, starts at 6pm.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt : Sunday 14 April, Russ Hall Park, Salisbury, from 9am- 11am. Let your Brisbane Kids enjoy free face painting, arts and craft and an egg hunt before the Easter Bunny makes a special appearance to say hello to all the Brisbane Kids at Russ Hall Park.

Easter Egg Hunt 2019 : Sunday 14 April, Teralba Park, Everton Park, from 9am- 10.30m. Madeleine Hicks Real Estate’s famous Easter Egg Hunt is up and running for the 10th YEAR IN A ROW! The day will comprise of a FREE Easter Egg hunt, FREE face painting, FREE kids activities including egg and spoon races, potato sack races, blow up soccer and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails: Friday 19 April, Redcliffe, from 8am-4pm Meet the Easter Bunny as well as enjoy all the free festivities on offer at the Sails Festival including an Easter egg hunt on the beach, live entertainment on three stages, kids zone, Pop-Up Ice Cream fair and more.

Bluewater Festival: Friday 19 April,  Shorncliffe, from 9am. Enjoy Good Friday with lots of free entertainment and activities, food trucks, art and craft markets, rides and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.

Easter Eggstravaganza:  Sunday 21 April, Victoria Park Bistro, from 9am-4pm. Celebrate Easter Sunday with an eggstravagant day out including jumping castles, face painting, petting zoo and other giant games, as well as a special chocolate drinks menu and visits throughout the morning from Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny.

Easter Family Fun Day at Sirromet:  Sunday 21 April, Sirromet Winery, from 10am-3pm. Hop into Sirromet Winery this Easter Sunday for a fun family day out. The Easter Bunny will be delivering eggs from 10am plus there will be live music, kids rides, food trucks, kids play free SUPA golf and a trackless train.

2019 Easter Egg Hunt at The Shed: Sunday 21 April, The Shed, from 3pm – 6pm.  Take part in an exciting Easter Egg Hunt and enjoy face painting, a jump on the jumping castles, animals in the Petting Zoo, LIVE music, food stalls, a vist from the Easter Bunny and so much more! (This event is for Brisbane Kids aged 13 years and under- tickets are required)

Easter Eggstravaganza: Sunday 21 April, Sandstone Point Hotel, from 10am – 5pm. Hunt for one of 6,000 Easter eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, have fun on the kids rides, enjoy live entertainment and stroll around the Easter Markets at the beautiful Sandstone Point Hotel, plus have fun at Waterworld Central. (Registration is required for the egg hunt)

Shopping Centres North Brisbane

Strathpine Centre Meet the Easter Bunny these Easter holidays at Strathpine Centre! The Easter Bunny will be handing out chocolate eggs between 10am – 1pm from Tuesday 16 April – Sunday 21 April (Closed Good Friday).

Brookside Shopping Centre-   From the 8-12 April, you can plant some carrot seeds and meet Peter Rabbit (who is not quite the Easter Bunny, but equally cute and just as nice!)

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Go on a Bunny Hunt, go through the Easter Maze and meet The Easter Bunny each weekend from 10am – 4pm from 6 – 21 April.

Kippa Ring Shopping Centre A very special visitor will be stopping by Kippa Ring Shopping Centre this Easter and Brisbane Kids can meet him and say hello from  15 – 20 April.

Westfield Chermside Everyone’s favourite furry friend is hopping into Westfield Chermside. If you can find our Easter Bunny you might get a delicious chocolate treat between 20 and 22 April.

Shopping Centres South Brisbane

Capalaba Central The  Easter Bunny will hopping around Capalaba Central will delicious treats for Brisbane Kids who come and say hello from 15 – 20 April, 10am-2pm (excluding Good Friday).

Mayfair Village on Manly Meet the Easter Bunny at Mayfair Village on Manly!  Drop by on the 18 April between 10am – 12noon and pick up your free Bunny ears…meet a very special bunny and maybe even collect a little chocolate Easter egg.

Westfield Carindale Everyone’s favourite furry friend, The Easter Bunny hopping into Westfield Carindale to visit all the Brisbane Kids. Grab a selfie and a delicious chocolate treat from the 15 – 20 April(closed Good Friday)

Forest Lake Shopping Centre Enjoy an enchanting Easter experience full of fun filled activities with a different activity for the kids to enjoy each day! Plus you can catch the Easter Bunny hopping around the centre from Wednesday 17 to Sunday 21 April!

Underwood Marketplace Bring the kids to Underwood Marketplace on Saturday 20 April to meet the Easter Bunny, you’ll find him in the Centre between 10am and 2pm. with FREE chocolate eggs for everyone!

Ripley Town Centre Come along and get your hands on free chocolate surprises as our fluffy friend hops through the centre from 10am to 1pm on 20 April.

Capalaba Park Get ready for the Easter by decorating your own set of Bunny Ears! And you’re your eyes peeled for a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny from 15 – 20 April(closed Good Friday)
