Boat Hire

Tangalooma Catamarans

Catamarans and 4HP motor boats are available to hire from Tangalooma Water Sports. Hire by the hour and cruise the waters off the resort, do a spot of fishing, or simply enjoy discovering the abundant wildlife of Moreton Bay. Cost: Catamaran hire from $49* for 30 mins. Motor Boat hire from $79* for 1 hour.

Kayaking

Tangalooma Kayak tours

Join a 1 hour 15 minute transparent-bottom kayak tour of the Tangalooma Wrecks from Tangalooma Island Resort and check out the marine wildlife around the wrecks as you paddle above!  Cost: $69* per person for the tour, or $54.50 per person in a tandem kayak.

Alternatively, you can choose to hire a single or double kayak for 1 hour (or longer!), and take yourselves on an adventure.  Cost: Kayak hire from $25* per person (single kayak), or $17.50 per person (tandem kayak) for 1 hour.

Parasailing

Get a bird’s eye view of the gorgeous shoreline of Tangalooma Island Resort, and possibly spot some ocean wildlife along the way! Solo, tandem or triple parasailing adventures are available daily. Weight restrictions do apply – 60kg minimum for solo flights, and 30kg minimum for tandem (per person) (maximum 160kg total). 100 metres maximum height for standard flights and 150 metres maximum height for mega flights. Cost: Standard flight (6-8 mins) $95*/ person solo, $85*/person tandem, $80*/person triple. Mega flight (8-10 mins) $105*/person solo, $95*/person tandem, $90*/person triple. Spectators on boat $15*/person.

Banana Boat Rides

Tangalooma Banana Boats

Experience the thrills of Moreton Bay and hang on tight whilst you are towed by a speedy jet ski on your inflatable banana boat. Banana boats carry up to 3 people. This adventure runs for approximately 15 minutes, and life jackets are supplied. Cost: $29/person solo, or $25 per person for 3 people.

Scuba Diving

There are several scuba diving options available at Tangalooma, and the Tangalooma Wrecks are ideal for exploring, regardless of your scuba diving skill level. You are guaranteed to spot hundreds of colourful fish and may even glimpse a green turtle or Wobbegong shark when scuba diving in this area. PADI Open Water Diver courses also available. Cost: Full Equipment Hire from $119*/person.

Stand Up Paddle Boards
