Urban Country Music Festival | Brisbane, April – May 2016

Round up the kids and give them a weekend they won’t forget at the Urban Country Music Festival 2016. Over  3 huge days, the Festival, which includes both ticketed and free events, is sure to have something for everyone. This year the Festival highlights the best of all things country, with the Bootscoot’n’BBQ on Friday, Main Concert on Saturday, and Urban Blaze on Sunday, as well as the Urban Village which is  open on both Saturday and Sunday offering free fun and entertainment for all.

Time: Gates open at 5.30pm

Location: Queensland State Equestrian Centre ,Cnr Tuckeroo Drive & Beerburrum Road, Caboolture

Cost: $10 for kids (5-17 years) and $25 for adults

Kicking off the weekend is the Bootscoot ‘n’ BBQ concert on Friday night. Brand new to the Urban Country Music Festival line up this year, the Bootscoot ‘n’ BBQ promises to offer the best in BBQ food and country music so the whole family can enjoy a night out together. All of Moreton Bay’s best BBQ chefs are coming together for the night to show festival goers how to cook amazing mouthwatering BBQ meals in special masterclasses where everyone can learn the secret to the perfect BBQ and the menu reads like a BBQ lover’s dream with pulled pork, smoky beef ribs and spicy chicken buffalo wings on offer. The line up of Aussie Country Music taking to the stage in the arena is as impressive as the BBQ menu with Sista Burley, Jay Seeney, Fanny Lumsden, Mickey Pike and the one and only James Blundell rocking out for the enjoyment of all at the Bootscoot ‘n’ BBQ concert. Urban Village Program

Urban Country Festival Urban Village

Date: Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May

Time: 9am-4pm daily

Location: Caboolture Historical Village,Beerburrum Road, Caboolture

Cost: FREE

On Saturday and Sunday the Caboolture Historical Village will be abuzz with all things free and country! Jam packed with heaps of workshops and activities that include an animal farm, whip cracking demonstrations, busking competition, face painting, cow milking competition,  jumping castle, kids temporary tattoos and so much more, the kids will not want to leave! Plus there are market stalls, amazing food and of course live country music. The Live music will be played across 7 stages and includes the talents of Casey Barnes, Bobkatz, Vixen of Hall as well as line dancing and Voice of Urban talent competition where you are sure to catch some country stars of the future. Main Concert

Urban Country Festival Concert

Date: Saturday 30th April

Time: Gates open at 2.30pm

Location: Queensland State Equestrian Centre ,Cnr Tuckeroo Drive & Beerburrum Road, Caboolture

Cost: Day Ticket – Adult $60.00, Child (5-7 years) $25.00 VIP Saturday – Adult $115.00 Children 4 years and under are free.

The biggest event on the Urban Country Music Festival program, The Main Concert offers an amazing line up with 7 hours of non-stop music. Golden Guitar winner and Aussie Country legend Troy Cassar-Daley is headlining the Concert and will be joined by Little Georgia, Amber Lawrence, Sara Storer, Adam Harvey, The Wolverines and many more. For full Urban Country Music Festival Main Concert program details, click here.

Urban Blaze

Date: Sunday 1st May

Time: Gates open at 3pm, main stage entertainment concludes at 9pm.

Location: Queensland State Equestrian Centre ,Cnr Tuckeroo Drive & Beerburrum Road, Caboolture

Cost: Entry is via gold coin donation

The grand finale is a feel good family event. A Festival favourite, Urban Blaze is a good old fashion country get-together, with great entertainment, bonfires and a fireworks display the kids will love. Taking to the main stage will be the winner of Voice of Urban, along with Innocent Eve, Wal Neilsen, Owen Campbell, Selena McAlister, Liam Brew and Simply Brushed. Urban Country Music Festival Tickets

There are a number of ticket packages available for the ticketed events at the Urban Country Music Festival. All prices listed are the online purchase price, which is cheaper than buying tickets at the gate on the day of the festival.

Weekend Package: includes entry to all events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • Adult: $75.00
  • Child (4 -17 years): $30.00
  • Children under 3 years are free

VIP Weekend Package: includes entry to all events, priority seating in the QSEC arena for teh Main Concert on Saturday night, $15 meal voucher, $27 bar credit, stubby cooler and lanyard.

  • Adult: $130

Bootscoot ‘n’ BBQ (Day ticket)

  • Adult: $25.00
  • Child (5 – 17 years): $10.00
  • Children 4 years and under are free

Main Concert (Day ticket)

  • Adults: $60.00
  • Child (5 – 17 years): $25.00

Camping : Camping is available for check-in from 8am Friday 29th April, and check out by 12pm Monday 2nd May.

  • Large stable (No fires): $175.00

Please note: all large campsites are powered, while small sites are unpowered.
