Hotel & Hotel Deluxe Rooms
Hotel Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with private furnished balconies. All hotel rooms feature one king or two single beds, plus a divan with trundle bed, ensuite bathroom, and a TV and DVD player (DVDs are available to hire from the Resort Shop). They contain basic tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge, so are not suited to self-catering. Upgrades to deluxe hotel rooms guarantee ocean views and a few extra luxuries such as fluffy robes and slippers. Communal laundry facilities are located throughout the hotel building.
Resort Units are air-conditioned and studio in plan, with wide opening sliding windows to catch the ocean breezes. Bedding includes one queen sized bed, one single bed and a divan. These rooms overlook the tropical gardens and pool area. As well as an ensuite bathroom, TV and DVD player, resort units feature a dining table and chairs and a kitchenette with convection microwave oven, full size fridge, electric frypan, toaster and kettle for basic meal preparation.
Resort Suites are larger in size and feature air-conditioning and a separate bedroom containing a queen size bed. The main living area contains 3 single beds, a lounge, dining table and chairs, and a TV and DVD player, with a bathroom housing a large shower, toilet and lots of storage for clothing and toiletries. The Beachfront Villas are two storey townhouses that feature two private balconies with Moreton Bay views, and include ceiling fans, bathroom upstairs and additional toilet downstairs, one queen size bed, two single beds, two single bunks and a single divan with trundle. A full kitchen on the lower level contains a full size fridge, dual gas stove-top, convection microwave oven, electric frypan, kettle and toaster. Villas also have individual laundry facilities, vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board.
Deep Blue Apartments
The Deep Blue Apartments are a luxury accommodation option for travellers, located right on the beach front and offering uninterrupted views across Moreton Bay. These two, three and four bedroom apartments sleep up to ten guests and feature shuttered, furnished balconies with BBQ, mini fridge and sink. Inside, the apartments have full-sized European appliance kitchens to make self-catering a breeze. The master bedrooms feature ensuites, with built-in wardrobes in all bedrooms, and ducted air-conditioning throughout the entire unit. Set up on the hill behind, and around a 15 minute walk from Tangalooma Island Resort, are a selection of three and four bedroom holiday homes. These architecturally designed homes all feature large decks to showcase breathtaking views of Moreton Bay and stunning daily sunsets over the ocean. Each home is individually furnished and therefore slightly different, though all have full service kitchens for self-catering, and a laundry. Each home also has a lock-up garage for 4WDs, or buggies can be hired from the resort at an additional cost.
