Snow4Kids | Brisbane June/July 2018
THIS EVENT IS NOW FINISHED. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE SNOW4KIDS 2019 DETAILS COMING SOON.
Brisbane’s number one snow attraction, Snow4Kids, is back for its 6th year! Snow4Kids is guaranteed to be hugely popular Winter School holiday activity this year, so please read on for all of the details to plan your visit.
The Snow4Kids Festival will run from 30 June until 15 July 2018 at The Courier-Mail Piazza in the South Bank Parklands.
Snow4Kids will be back for its 6th year with a few changes including more snow and reduced ticket prices in 2018. The Snow4Kids Park will feature a real snow experience for Brisbane Kids. Included in every booked session, of which there are seven every day of the festival, kids will have fun with tobogganing, snow play on the snow mountain and throwing snowballs at targets.
The best news is that this year, snowman building will also be included in the session (last year you had to purchase other tickets for snowman making).
Last year’s Snow4Kids Park at The Courier-Mail Piazza was a sold out event that attracted over 16,000 visitors, so booking well in advance is highly recommended.
Please note: In the case of the Snow4Kids Park, anyone over the age of 12 is not allowed to throw Snowballs or ride the toboggans for health and safety reasons. This is to ensure the safety of all children and adults in the park. Adults are allowed to help children where necessary and enjoy the snow play with them. Adults are more than welcome to build a snowman with their children.
Date: 30th June – 15th July 2018
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm daily. Sessions every hour, on the half hour.
Location: The Courier Mail Piazza, South Bank
Cost: $15 per child, per 50 minute session. Ticket covers entry for one person. Every person entering Snow4Kids will require a ticket. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session. Online bookings will incur a booking fee. Babies 12 months and under may enter the park for free with a paying adult.
Remember for both activities your Brisbane Kids are going to get wet and cold so beanies, boots and gloves are recommended as are a change of clothes so everyone can go home dry and warm after their fun in the snow.To find out more about Brisbane’s wonderful array of regular cultural festivals, take a look at the upcoming Brisbane Festivals or our Brisbane Kids Event Calendar
