Flying Fox Studios
Flying Fox Studios’ has a fantastic Autumn Holiday Workshop program planned with many new workshops scheduled. Children aged from 4 to 15 years can choose from a great selection of creative classes covering topics such as art, craft, music, construction, engineering, design, movement, science and more. Calling all young actors, singers and comedy-makers! NIDA Open is about to kick off its winter holiday program at the Queensland Academies Creative Industries (QACI) in Brisbane – and there are courses to suit different ages, tastes and abilities. Available for students in grades 3–12 and running from 26 June–9 July, courses will range in duration, from two-day-long creative classes for young children to five-day drama classes for committed young actors. Circus Arts brings the circus back to Brisbane these winter school holidays with the Holidays Mega Mix class that starts on Monday, 26 June. This 2 hour long class is jam packed with circus fun, including juggling, pyramids, acro-balance, hula hoops, plate spinning and high flying trapeze for those who dare! The Mega Mix class is suitable for ages 5-15 years and all abilities are welcome. Flying trapeze classes will also continue over the school holidays. Chill Out is one of Brisbane’s most popular youth programs with a great variety of free and low-cost recreation activities. Brisbane City Council coordinates the events targeted specifically to young people between 10-17 years old. Logan’s Krank program
Logan City Council’s Krank program has been expanded to include kids as young as five! Krank is a school holiday program for Logan residents aged 5-17 years that is jam packed with free and low cost activities and classes. It’s a great way to meet new people and have fun as you participate in adventure sports, arts and crafts, multimedia, music and physical recreation. Krank encourages inclusion of all young people and also offers activities designed specifically for young people living with a disability. Ipswich Active Breaks
Active Breaks is a free holiday program run by Ipswich City Council and Coolsports for Ipswich kids aimed at getting kids out and active during the school holidays. The program offers a range of sports each holidays including martial arts, trampolining, dance, hockey, little athletics and much more.
