Lights Camera Action- Queensland Symphony Orchestra Concert

Bring your Brisbane Kids along to the Courier Mail Piazza to see the Queensland Symphony Orchestra perform their second concert for the year just for kids, Lights,Camera,Action.

Every year the Queensland Symphony Orchestra put on a series of concerts in order to introduce children to the range of orchestral instruments where they are encouraged to listen, dance and enjoy music in a fun environment. Last year the Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s concert series  featured Shake Rattle and Blow, Stories, Legends and Fairytales, Lights, Camera Action! and the ever popular festive family music concert Symphonic Santa and this year’s series is set to be bigger and better than ever before with the first concert for the year, Superheroes, selling out and another 2 concerts later in the year, Peter and the Wolf and Symphonic Santa already receiving a lot of attention as everything the QSO performs is amazing and the kids love it.

Lights, Camera, Action is conducted by the talented Guy Nobel and is a show filled with the best movie music played live by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. The audience can expect to hear music from the soundtracks of Stars Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, ET and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone which will take the audience back to the movie and immerse them in Harry’s Wondrous World. The highlight of the show is sure to be music from Frozen. Everyone will be singing and dancing along as the Orchestra plays Frozen Heart, Do You Want to Build a Snowman, In Summer, For the First Time in Forever and of course Let It Go.

Apart from the live performance, The String garden will be a feature at the Lights, Camera , Action concert and will give Brisbane Kids the chance to see range of string instruments up close. All the members of the violin family including the violin, viola, cello and double bass will be there ready for kids to look, touch, listen, learn and play. Plus there will be a special table which will show kids how a violin is made and what the components are in a violin. Experts will be on hand to give the kids some great tips on how to play the instruments and instill a love of music into each and every child.

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s Lights Camera Action will not disappoint. As with all of Queensland Symphony Orchestra shows, it will be an awesome interactive performance full of amazing music and songs that will guarantee the event is fun for Brisbane Kids and their parents making it a show that you and your Brisbane Kids will not want to miss.
