Cafes With Play Areas
If you have young kids finding a cafe with play area almost becomes more important than the quality of the coffee they serve. What if you could get both? YES they do exist- cafes, coffee to be drink and places to eat with a play area for the kids.
They want to play. And you want to enjoy a (hot) coffee, relax or participate in an uninterrupted adult conversation. No, not at an indoor play centre – unless you find 50 screaming kids in an enclosed space particularly relaxing.
So, in no specific order, here is our list of child-friendly places to relax, eat and drink in Brisbane with play areas.
Brisbane Cafe’s with play areas for kids
The Monkey Bar Café
98 Victoria Terrace, Greenslopes
The Monkey Bar Café offers relaxed alfresco dining situated beside a shaded playground with swings, slides, spring rockers, see-saw and climbing frames. Also, lots of room for prams, bicycles and pets are welcome. It is the perfect venue for a catch-up or child’s party.

850 Mount Cotton Road, Mount Cotton

The menu caters for kids with delicious, well portioned and well-priced meals, ice cream and cakes. All ordering (including beer and wine) is made at the kitchen counter and collected at the kitchen window.
