New Years Eve Fireworks in Brisbane are growing more plentiful, especially early fireworks, providing lots of opportunity for parents to enjoy celebrations with their children. From the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast with lots of Brisbane locations, there are vantage points for all Brisbane Kids and their families to be able to enjoy fireworks on New Years Eve. Family Friendly News Years Eve Fireworks in Brisbane
Bribie Island | The best part about the Bribie Island New Years Event is that it also offers a market atmosphere for families seeking to make a full afternoon and evening out of festivities. Starting at 12pm at Brennan Park- check out the Fireworks at 8.30pm when the markets close. There will be another display from the Bribie Bridge at midnight.
Caloundra | Kings Beach will be the place to be for families celebrating New Years Eve this year on the Sunshine Coast as Lions Park and Ampitheatre host kids rides, yummy food and drink stalls, face painters, children’s entertainment, Despicable ME 3 on the big screen, and some great live entertainmentbefore a fireworks finale at 9.30pm.
Chermside | Book a front-row seat at a restaurant in the level 2 dining precinct, and enjoy this free and exciting event on Sunday December 31, with fireworks, bubbles and a balloon drop from 7-9pm
Ipswich| This amazing family friendly event boasts free kids’ rides, food stalls, live music, face painting, a Smurfette and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Show, Larrikin Puppets, Stuntman Jim and a Fireworks Finale Spectacular at 9.30pm
Manly Harbour Village| Manly Harbour Village will host 2 fireworks displays over the beautiful harbour, the biggest display at 9pm to cater for families and another explosion of colour and light to bring in the new year at 12 midnight.
Mooloolaba| Bring your Brisbane Kids down to Mooloolaba Esplanade where they will be entertained from 4pm with live music, rides, kid’s activities, yummy food and a spectacular fireworks show at 8:30pm and midnight.
Portside | Family Friendly Fireworks at both 8.30pm and midnight.
Redcliffe | Scarborough Foreshore will light up in a family friendly New Years Eve Hawaiian Themed party with entertainment rides and fireworks at 8.30pm
Sandstone Point Hotel | 12 noon – midnight – Celebrate New Years Eve with food stalls, kids rides, live music, entertainment and more. Of course the highlight will be the 2 fireworks shows- a family fireworks show at 8:30pm will be synchronised from the Sandstone Point Hotel jetty and the Bongaree jetty plus the traditional NYE fireworks will go off at midnight from the Sandstone Point Hotel jetty.
Springfield | Fireworks at the Lagoon at 9pm. The Lagoon will be open until 9pm.
South Bank | Reliably awesome, South Bank is set to provide Brisbane families with the most amazing fireworks show at 8.30pm and midnight.
Surfers Paradise | This event is being held on the 31st December with fireworks at at 8.00pm and midnight on the beach and 10.00pm riverside.
Victoria Point| Lots of family-friendly fun including markets and a magic show and a fireworks finale at 9pm
