Mother’s Day at Victoria Park

This year Victoria Park are offering delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options that will please every member of the family and take the pressure of planning, cooking and cleaning. The Mother’s Day Breakfast in the Marquee is a great start to the day with a delicious breakfast buffet featuring hot and cold seasonal delights. A glass of sparkling is served to all mums on arrival and there is a kid’s area with face painting, a magician and much more.

Victoria Park’s Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch in the Ballroom is another great option that will have guests enjoying live music entertainment, MUMM bubbles on arrival, a tasty brunch menu selection, live music, photo booth, raffle tickets with fun prizes and a face painter for the kids.

A less formal option is to book breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Victoria Park Bistro where the whole family can make the most of the kids playground. Plus the Putt-Putt course will be open early to late so the whole family can enjoy a round – just make sure you let Mum tee off first, it is her day after all!

Pack a picnic, grab a rug and come down to George Willmore Park, Sunday 9 May for an enjoyable afternoon with Mum! Take your pick from a range of food stalls, pick up some goodies from our range of handmade market stalls then take a seat, relax and enjoy the live music on stage.

Mother’s Day Classic

Mother’s Day in Brisbane is celebrated every year with the Mother’s Day Classic. A sea of pink shirts floods the riverside as Brisbane families start the morning with a run to raise fund for breast cancer research. There is a course for every fitness ability and you can choose from a 5km run or walk and a 10km run or walk. After your run, you can enjoy all the delights that Roma Street Parkland have to offer. The Mother’s Day Classic will feature a food zone and kids zone with various extra activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. There will be heaps of fun things to do including inflatable games, face painting, fairy floss, popcorn, bowling, card decorating and plenty of other fun activities.

Start Mother’s Day at a free Yoga session at Darling Point Park. The whole family can enjoy a sweet-tempered free yoga session by the beautiful Manly foreshore before enjoying the delights of the markets and cafe.
