Lota Park Playground
Lota Park (AKA Fig Tree Point Park) is a relatively new local park on Lota Esplanade. It only recently opened and is a good playground alternative to the popular Wynnum water park on the Bayside. Lota Park has toilets, barbeques and undercover seating, as well as fitness. The playground, which is both toddler and older Brisbane Kid friendly, features lots of lovely climbing opportunities, slides and sand sculptures. It is a colourful and inspiring playground but is only partially fenced. You will also be delighted by the lovely view and great fish and chips across the road at Barts.
This fantastic modern playground features several awesome forts that are built to look like beach huts. The playground is perfect for playing house, driving trucks through the sand and shooting down the steep enclosed slides.
Fig Tree Point/Lota Park has public toilets, water fountains and shelters. It is only partially fenced at this stage. There are shade sails covering some of the play equipment, however some equipment is unshaded. There are some great flat concrete paths for access.
