Let’s Go to Toy Town – Capalaba Central Free School Holiday Activities

Brisbane Kids looking for some fun, exciting and hands-on activities during the July 2019 school holidays will have to look no further than Capalaba Central, who have a two week holiday program that is sure to entertain and provide an escape from the school holiday boredom!

It’s to Toy Town and beyond during the Winter school holidays, as Capalaba Central’s Centre Court is transformed into a magical toy land where toys will come to life and Brisbane Kids can make and take home a new toy of their own. Plus, the school holiday program will feature a special VIP screening of Toy Story 4!

A Spoonful of Fun Workshops

When: Monday 1 July – Sunday 7 July 2019

Time: 10am, 11am, 12pm & 1pm daily

Where: Toy Town in Centre Court, Capalaba Central

Who: Suitable for Toy lovers of all ages

Every teddy bear who’s been good is sure of a treat at Capalaba Central, as there’s lots of marvelous things to eat and wonderful stories to listen to!

Brisbane Kids can get creative during the first week of the school holidays and make their very own toy to love… from a wooden spoon! As we learnt in Toy Story 4, cutlery can become a cherished toy, and, in this special workshop, wooden spoons will come alive to create characters from everyone’s favourite stories and fairytales. Remember to book into a session as spaces are limited.

The toy-inspired fun continues into the second week of the school holidays at Capalaba Central with a live show in Toy Town! Be amazed as everyone’s favourite toys come to life in an acrobatic and fun magical show suitable for the whole family.

Toy Story 4 VIP Screening

Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Where: BCC Cinemas, Capalaba Central

Who: Suitable for all Toy Story Fans

Price: $5 per ticket -includes FREE small popcorn

Capalaba Central are kicking off the school holidays with a special VIP screening of Toy Story 4. For only $5, Brisbane Kids will get to see the must-see movie of the year, Toy Story 4, plus receive a free small popcorn with their $5 ticket. But be quick, tickets are limited and, for that price, tickets will sell out quickly! Please note: parents must accompany their children to this movie and require a ticket.
