Keralgerie Park in Morningside | Playground for Younger Brisbane Kids
Karalgerie Park has a colourful little playground that is ideal for toddlers or primary-school children to climb and explore.
Keralgerie Park The Fun
Keralgerie Park has a small playground that is perfect for toddlers or primary-school aged Brisbane kids. The main play structure is decorated like a storybook cottage on one side and a digger on the other side, with slides and climbing nets and walls just the right size for younger kids. For older kids, there is a larger climbing net off to the side of the main playground. There is a swing set with one standard and one baby swing, plus bouncy rockers and dizzy sticks. The playground is partly shaded by shade sails and trees, but during the hotter parts of the day, much of the equipment is in the full sun. Keralgerie Park also boasts a fenced dog park close to the playground and a large grassy open space with soccer goalposts.
Kids will have fun playing house in the cottage, especially in the little section underneath which has a small seat and bench – just right for a tea party. There is also plenty of space to run around or have a game of soccer.
Special Needs Factor at Keralgerie Park
There are no toilets at Keralgerie Park. The carpark has one disabled space and there is a concrete path leading to the playground and dog park. The main playground is on a softfall base while the larger climbing net is on bark, and only part of the playground is shaded by shade sails. There is no fencing. There is one covered picnic table and a number of bench seats throughout the park, but no barbecues.
