Special Needs Services
When you find out your child has a special need you will be eager to find out who can help support them and you. Some families will be covered via funding through the NDIS or the Helping Children with Autism Package, while others won’t be funded at all.
Special needs help for kids in Brisbane
This category is for all the special needs professionals, classed, groups and services that don’t fall under the banner of psychology, occupational therapy or speech therapy. You can find a list of those professionals via the main menu collated into their own categories to save you time. The vast majority of the professionals on our site will allow you to access your funding but always check first and if you aren’t funded then find out if your GP, your local school or your local community centre has any options for you.
We have also created a Facebook group for parents of kids with special needs in Brisbane including but not exclusive to, autism, anxiety, SPD, global developmental delay, pretty much any special need that might require extra support. You can join via the button above. We have also provided a link to some further resources for you.
