A breathtaking 10 days of flowers, flavours and sounds, the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers takes over the Southern Queensland city of Toowoomba in the most beautiful of ways from 18 – 27 September 2020 with a program of unique events and experiences including award-winning parks, stunning private gardens, streets bursting with floral colour, internationally acclaimed musical acts, some of the best food and wine to be found in Queensland and a multitude of cultural and natural adventures.

Grand Central Floral Parade… reimagined
The iconic Grand Central Floral Parade has been reimagined for 2020! This year the Grand Central Floral Parade will be delivered in two ways, a Static Display throughout the Grand Central Shopping Centre and a highly anticipated mini Itty-Bitty Grand Central Floral Parade.
Come along and see our first-ever Grand Central Floral Parade Static Display, from 19 – 27 September featuring stunning floral floats designed and decorated by Toowoomba Businesses and Community Groups. These ‘blooming’ floats will be on display throughout Grand Central Shopping Centre across the Qld School Holidays.
The much anticipated mini Itty-Bitty Grand Central Floral Parade is a virtual parade on 19 Sepetember. Screens will blossom with beautifully decorated mini floral floats handmade by Toowoomba Businesses and Community Groups. Check in at 3pm.
Rowes Carnival of Light Shows
Bring the whole family to watch the entire front of the Rowes building come to life with spectacular animations to celebrate a Symphony of Spring! You’ll see the magical, miniature world of the garden gnomes with flowers the size of buildings, giant bees, butterflies and lady birds. Watch crepe myrtle trees bop to the music whilst thousands of tiny flowers sprout and bloom and a giant oak tree grows and delivers dancing gnomes to the party! This event is free and is on18 – 27 September, 6:30pm – 9pm
Night Garden powered by Ergon Energy Retail
As twilight settles in, Queens Park will spring to life with lighting displays that weave through a secluded section of the parkland. Designed as a family-friendly space, the Night Garden features light installations and illuminations of colour! Get your camera ready to capture each installation.
This event will ‘brighten’ your night from 18 – 27 September, 6 pm- 8.30 pm at the Middle of Queens Park.
Spring Bluff Railway Station Gardens
Heritage-listed Spring Bluff Railway Station is home to 150 years of railway history and beautifully landscaped gardens. Nestled on the main railway line between Ipswich and Toowoomba, the splendour of the gardens will stop you in your tracks. The spring exhibit is absolutely stunning with thousands of visitors each September enjoying the magnificent display with an array of poppies, ranunculus, stock, snapdragons, petunias and many other annuals bursting into colour under the warm sunshine from 18 – 27 September.
