The Lighting of the Brisbane City Christmas Tree presented by St. George Bank

November 30. 2018

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Free
Brisbane's biggest Christmas tree

The 4 week Christmas in Brisbane extravaganza kicks off with the official lighting of the beautiful Brisbane City Christmas tree, which stands 22m tall in the centre of the city for all to see. On top of witnessing the switching on of Queensland’s biggest solar powered Christmas tree, the night’s festivities will also include special guests singing everyone’s favourite Christmas carols and a very special Christmas performance. Of course, it is expected that the man in red will also make an appearance on the night. If you can’t make it to the official lighting of the tree, don’t despair, as the tree remains in King George Square and will be sparkling nightly until Christmas Eve.
