Terrific Turtles and Trashy Art

July 3. 2019

10:00 am - 11:00 am Free
Ocean Connect, Terrific Turtles and Trashy Art kids go wild, paper on table, collage, kids craft

Even though World Turtle Day was in May, every day is a great day to learn about one of Earth’s oldest creatures.

Ocean Connect will deliver an interactive presentation on sea turtles then the session will conclude with a craft activity using litter that has washed up on the beach.

Learn how you can help to keep our beaches clean for our turtle friends and have some creative fun with zero environmental impact!

Join in the fun over the school holidays by getting out and getting wild in Ipswich! The program is filled with a range of fun activities that encourage kids to get involved in the local environment and learn about ways to become more sustainable. Activities are FREE but bookings are essential. View upcoming events or make your booking by visiting Ipswich City Council’s EnviroEd KGW Eventbrite page.
