Stop animation workshops

July 6. 2021

10:00 am - July 10. 2021 @ 3:30 pm Free

Calling all Moreton Bay young people!

What matters to you? Is it koala’s homes, swimming in clean waterways or saving the bees?

Moreton Bay’s young people are speaking out and sharing their thoughts about the local environment.

Come along to these free & fun workshops to learn about and create your own stop-motion animation with artist Sue Loveday.

Your animations will share your thoughts and opinions about the environment you live in and may make a debut at the Green screen exhibition over the Summer Holidays!

Green screen is a workshop series and exhibition offered by Moreton Bay Regional Council for young people 6-16 yrs. Using stop-motion animation, assembled sculpture and poster making, Green screen will present their concerns and ideas about human impact on the environment. The outcomes of the workshops will be installed in Pine Rivers Art Gallery as an interactive exhibition over the summer school holidays.
