Scenic Rim Eat Local Week
Eat Local Week will be held from 25 June – 3 July and provide amazing opportunities to explore farms, try local produce and have fun in the beautiful Scenic Rim.
Eat Local Week has something for foodies of all ages, from free and low-cost activities for children and families, including farm tours and cooking classes through to exclusive dining experiences hosted by some of Queensland’s finest Chefs.
During the school holidays there is a smorgasbord of family-friendly food-focused Eat Local Week events including:
Meet majestic camels at Little Farmer Humpty Day at Summer Land Camels
Get grubby and pick your own carrots at Kalfresh Vegetables Carrot Day – SOLD OUT
Make seed bombs and frog hotels at Jasmin Urban Farm workshops
Cuddle woolly friends and learn a new culinary craft at Towri Sheep Cheeses kids’ workshop🫐 Tour a Macadamia Farm and learn about Bush Tucker at Greenlee Farm
