Ocean life education workshops

Ocean Life Education is bringing the ocean inside the museum in the winter school holidays!!
Children will get their hands wet interacting with fascinating live marine animals and enjoy games and fun.
These environmental education workshops will inspire children to appreciate and take responsibility for the marine ecosystem.
Workshop 1: Shark discovery | 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Learn why sharks attack humans and why different sharks have different teeth. There will be marine creatures the children can touch and artefacts like shark jaws. Discover the importance of sharks to the ecosystem and how to stay safe swimming.
Workshop 2: Human impact – The earth under threat | 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM
An interactive touch and learn session where children discover amazing facts about how humans impact the marine environment. Children will take away knowledge on what they can do everyday to help our oceans.
Workshop 3: Weird and wonderful | 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Discover amazing facts about extraordinary sea creatures. This interactive program will intrigue students while teaching the important message of caring for our environment. Children will touch live sea creatures, laugh and learn at the same time!
These workshops are too exciting to miss, and tickets are limited! Each child can only attend one workshop, which one will you choose?
