What parents say
“Our daughter started at Bald Hill Childcare 12 months ago now from a family day-care and has loved every minute of it! As soon as she started you could tell she was learning so many new things! The staff are all so lovely and great with the children, the size of the centre is perfect as you get to know all the staff and they all make the effort to get to know your children. Would highly recommend if you are after a day-care that has a loving family feel!” – Tracey Harris.
“Couldn’t have imagined what I would have done without Bald Hills Childcare Centre. When my girls go to childcare it’s like they are going to a home away from home. The carers are awesome, they are always looking for new ways to foster play-based learning for the kids and help them grow, nurture and develop in a fun environment. Thank you for the support and care you have given our kids and our family over the years.” – Natalie Hamblin.
“Both my girls attend BHCC and to say they love it would be an understatement. The love and care that the educators show towards the children is so wonderful. I don’t doubt for a second the benefits of being able to learn, play and develop in an environment that is so nurturing, familiar and comfortable. It will be a very sad day when they go off to school!” – Steph Stobie

Travelling to and from school, as well as to holiday excursions on the centre’s “Monkey bus” is always an absolute hit and a novelty for the children in the centre’s care.
Incursions and Excursions
As part of their program, Bald Hills Childcare Centre aim to provide children with a unique and engaging experience beyond that of their everyday routines. One such way this is accomplished is through free monthly incursions. Some of the exciting incursions have successfully implemented at the centre in the past include visits from the Ocean life team where the children got to interact with a variety of sea creatures, the Henny Penny Hatching Project which allowed for children to interact with chicks from the egg, through the hatching process and all the way up to them being re-homed.
Emergency Services visits, wildlife rangers and Surfer Sam are other incursion hits provided at the Centre to great success and enthusiasm. In addition to incursions which are provided for all of the children in the centre’s care to enjoy, excursions for Pre-Kindy and Kindergarten aged children are also facilitated. In conjunction with the local Brendale Jump Swim Schools, weekly swimming lessons for children 3+ years of age are also offered. This initiative has been welcomed by current families with great enthusiasm as safety in all areas is of paramount importance to the Centre’s community. In keeping with encouraging students to become lifelong learners, Bald Hills Childcare Centre also offer trips to the local Strathpine library every month where the children borrow books to bring back to the centre to share for group time. On these outings, the children engage with the community through the active participation in story time and group activities designed to spark creativity and imagination.
At Bald Hills Childcare Centre, all children are valued and welcomed within all programs. Working closely with Inclusion Support Queensland to support children with disabilities allows the centre to offer an educational program that ensures all children in the care environment feel safe, supported and included in their daily routines. Added benefits: As part of their dedication to children’s comfort and wellbeing, Bald Hills Childcare Centre strives to provide everything needed to be successful in their daily routines.
