Baby Friendly Movies in Brisbane

Baby Friendly Movies are a great way for mums, dads (or grandmothers or aunties or babysitters) with young children to see the latest movies in a child friendly environment and at a reasonable price.  Cinemas throughout Brisbane offer Baby Friendly Movie sessions on most days.  Lights are dimmed to allow you to still see / feed your baby when needed.  Prams are generally not allowed, so a sling or baby carrier is a good option.  School holidays may affect Baby Friendly Movie sessions so be sure to check session times before you go.

Baby Friendly Movies at Events Cinemas

Events Cinemas holds Babes in Arms sessions on a Wednesday at 10.00 or 10.30 am (except school holidays) at most of their Brisbane locations.  Children under four are free, while adult tickets are just $8.50.  Prams are stored outside the cinema during Babes in Arms sessions.

Baby Friendly Movies at AMC (Hoyts)

AMC (now owned by Hoyts) at Stafford and Redcliffe offer Mums and Bubs movie sessions twice a month on a Thursday (except school holidays) in the first advertised session.  Baby changing facilities are available.  Tickets are $9.00 and children under five are free.

Baby Friendly Movies at Palace Cinemas Barracks (Petrie Terrace) and James St (Centro)

Palace Barracks Cinemas holds Babes in Arms sessions every Thursday at Centro and every Friday at Barracks, except school holidays. Tickets are $11.00 for adults, and children under three are free.  Your ticket price includes morning tea.  Bookings are essential for these baby friendly movies.

Baby Friendly Movies at Blue Room Cinebar

The Blue Room Cinebar at Paddington shows Mums and Bubs sessions at about 10.30 am every Wednesday.  Special offers are available from time to time; for example, purchase a muffin and coffee from $8 when any movie ticket is purchased.

Baby Friendly Movies at Dendy (Portside)

Dendy runs Reel Bubs sessions every Thursday morning during the first movie session for selected movies.  Movie tickets are $10 which includes morning tea, with children under five free.  Prams are not allowed into the cinemas.

Baby Friendly Movies at Reading Cinema (Redbank)

Reading Cinema at Redbank runs Spit the Dummy sessions every Wednesday (except school holidays).  Movie tickets are $16 and include free entry for up to two children under five.

Baby Friendly Movies at Loganholme Hyperplex Cinema

Loganholme Hyperplex Cinema runs Mummy and Me sessions every Wednesday (except school holidays).  Tickets are $8.50 and include coffee and cake and free entry for children under four.

Baby Friendly Movies are a great day out for mum and baby as they give mums and dads an opportunity to see the latest movies for a reasonable price and in an environment that is baby friendly. Often the lights are dimmed not darkened with young children being free.

So sit back, relax, watch a movie, and know that if your baby does cry, no one is going to mind.
