Situated just minutes from the city, Oriel Park is a lovely fenced playground perfect for mums who want to let the kids run free and feel safe in knowing that they can’t get out!
Oriel Park – The Fun
Oriel Park boasts big beautiful shady trees to keep Brisbane Kids cool and out of the sun. The playground itself features two large forts with wobbly bridges, a train with a slide, 3 swings and other climbing and balancing equipment. This is all covered by large shade sails and protected by the trees. Adjacent to the playground is a large open grassy space that is perfect for kicking a ball and having a good run around, however it is unfenced and borders on four roads, so keep an eye on littlies. There are barbeques and toilets, which make Oriel Park a great spot for a family picnic. There are also lots of little shops and beautiful boutique stores nearby.
Oriel Park playground features plenty of opportunities for balancing and climbing circus acrobats, performing beneath the trees. The forts are perfect for playing house, with underground tunnels to investigate and hide from baddies in.
Oriel Park has toilet facilities. The playground is fenced and shaded most of the day by shade sails and mature shade trees. There are bike and walking paths around the park. Picnic tables and electric barbeques feature outside of the fenced playground area.
