Daisy Hill Koala Centre

Located on Daisy Hill Rd, Daisy Hill in the Southern Suburbs of Brisbane- it is open every day (except xmas, new years and good friday) 10-4pm. 435 ha of open eucalypt Forest- home to an estimated 2279 Koalas.

It has an education centre with 2 movies, a vewing tower and multiple walking tracks suitable for prams, wheelchairs and little kids. Admission is free. It has 3 resident koalas- for viewing (no handling).

It is a nature reserve, with plenty of lovely shaded spots, picnic tables and BBQ facilities. They are wood fires (wood provided by the centre)- but you will need to bring your own starters and matches. They always have holiday programs free and for booking- and they book out quickly- so get in early. This is perfect for a midweek jaunt with some toddlers, or a weekend lunch outing with the family.
